How do I select user type (Freelancer or Employer) during registration?
When registering as a member, users can choose to sign up as either a Freelancer or an Employer on the registration page. By default, the selection is set to Employer. If you wish to register as a Freelancer, please be sure to adjust this option. In case you choose the wrong option, you can always delete your account and re-register.
Freelancer vs Employer?
Freelancers work on projects offered by Employers and can also offer services that Employers can purchase. Employers post projects that Freelancers can choose to work on and can also buy services provided by Freelancers.
Project vs Service?
A project refers to a task offered by an Employer who needs assistance with specific work. Freelancers can send proposal and communicate with Employers to offer their skills and take on these projects. A service, on the other hand, is a task provided by a Freelancer based on their expertise. Employers can purchase a service if it meets their requirements for the task at hand.
What are the charges associated with Monstawork marketplace?
When users register on our website, they are automatically assigned a startup package (or a free upgrade package, depending on the current offer). The package is determined by the user type selected during registration, either Freelancer or Employer. This package allows users to start posting services or jobs immediately. There are limits on the number of services (for Freelancers) and jobs (for Employers) you can post on our platform. You can post services or projects based on the credits available in your account, which are assigned during registration. If you’re a Freelancer with multiple services to offer or an Employer needing more job postings, you can purchase additional packages. For more details, refer to our user guides on Freelancer Packages and Employer Packages.
We charge fees for all projects and services on our marketplace, along with a processing fee of USD 3 for payouts.
NOTE: Please contact us if you need further assistance on fee charges.
